Here in Charlton Kings we aspire to be committed and authentic followers of Jesus.

Our Mission statement is “To Know Jesus and to make Jesus Known”

and so our aim is to be:

An Inclusive Community

All are welcome to join us on our journey of faith. Whether you would like to explore the Christian faith or whether you already have faith we invite you to come.

A Worshipping Community

Our services are varied but our aim is to always honour God, put Jesus in the centre and allow the Holy Spirit freedom to minister. We enjoy traditional hymns as well as modern contemporary songs.

A Praying Community

We have a prayer meeting every Monday evening where we seek to know God’s heart and hear him speak. We pray for one another, our community and the world. Other prayer events take place during the year. At the end of our Sunday worship prayer ministry is available for those who have been touched by the Holy Spirit or have a specific prayer need.

A Caring Community

CKBC is a place where you can find someone to walk with you and share the ups and downs of life. The world can be a daunting place so God wants to place us in a family where we can be loved and nurtured. We have a pastoral care team with caring people who can help when times are tough.

A Disciple- making Community

There is so much to learn and to discover so church should never be boring.

We run Alpha Courses for those searching for meaning in their live.

Freedom in Christ to help release you from past hurts into the abundant life Jesus offers.

Small groups run weekly in member’s homes.

A Prophetic Community

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and has much to say to us today.

A Sacrificial Community

We give generously through the year to a number of charities including:

The Good News Centre in Kolkata, Heal Romania, Samaritans purse, Victory Outreach, Spurgeons Childcare.

Our Sunday clubs also sponsor a young boy called Kwesi in Ghana.

A Missional Community

Because we are so blessed we are able to support The Baptist Missionary Society and Baptist Home Mission which help churches that are in difficult and more deprived areas. We are also pleased to be able to send teams from our church and a fairly regular basis to India and Romania.
