There are several homegroups that are run by various members of the church. These are listed below. You are more than welcome to join anyone of them.
Runs: Thursdays 7-45pm-8.00pm start
The theme of this homegroup is apologetics, which means the defence of our faith. Peter tells us in his book – “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15). In this group we look at those reasons. We examine the evidences for our faith, including the existence of God, the truth and historicity of Jesus as a real person and his resurrection. We examine the evidences for the reliability of the Gospels and we also discuss many other things that might be seen as a stumbling block for people’s faith. All of this is done with a wealth of different material from a huge range of philosophers, scientists and apologists.
A community of young adults at CKBC Church. Whether you’re at university or just moved to Cheltenham. We are all about empowering the emerging generation to influence in every sphere of life. Our heart is to encourage you to build a greater personal relationship with Jesus and his cause.
Our Sunday Morning service is at 10.30 – 11.45 at the Church Street Building. Around 40- 70 people of all ages attend including children. The music is led by a small worship team and we sing both modern and traditional songs. The centre of our worship is Bible teaching. We have an All age service on the second Sunday of the month but on other Sundays the children and young people go to their own activities which include learning about the Bible and learning songs for worship, after a short time in the service.
