King's Coffee house is run by CKBC and is a 'not for profit' business.
Alongside our commitment to serving high quality coffee, we’re also non-profit, providing work experience and employment to adults with learning disabilities. Our hope is to be a space where our customers can have a taste not only of great coffee, but of community too. Come and join us for a cuppa & don’t forget to pick up a loyalty card- your 10th drink will be on us as a thanks for your support!

History
In 1984 CKBC decided to move sideways and buy the grocery shop Wakefield’s when it became vacant. The shop was bought for £40,000. The building initially opened as a charity shop, before reopening in 1985 as “The Vine" - a Christian Centre, Coffee Room and Bookshop. A service of celebration and dedication was held at the church and attended by the Mayor, Councillor Peter Pennell and the Bishop of Tewkesbury. In 2010 The Vine celebrated 25 years of ministry in Charlton Kings. In 2012 the shop was closed for refurbishment. It was reopened in Feb 2013 as “The King’s Coffee House”.
